Have You Ever Known a Stubborn Person?

This is a shout out to any of you out there whom may have had close contact with someone whom for all intents and purposes just appears stubborn for no reason. That's how it is where I live. I have known many people in my life who don't feel like they need to listen to reason. My Mom, god bless her is stubborn as a mule. I just told her hey, you get confused paying your bills twice a month (whenever we go to the payment centers) so lets cut out the middleman and have an account that gets the money taken out at least once a month with direct deposit. She never pays anything on time. We constantly have to make arrangements. I told her that way you can go off and have a few dollars you'd save on gas and otherwise to play around with. Do you know how much gas costs today? Three dollars a gallon! That's just ridiculous. It seems like my mom puts in 20 dollars every other time she goes in to have dialysis treatment. She gets dialysis three times a week! Add that up, that's 200 dollars a month just for gas. Then everytime you're behind in bills they charge you that little service fee. I don't need to ask if you get that because its common knowledge or should be. At least for people that are lower income or working middle class. Anyways, my Mom won't listen to me. She thinks someone wants to take her money. I mean I know I don't have any to speak of but lady, if I wanted money I'd contact for a job anyone my dad and I knew from when he cut hair. Or at the very least ask for info on whose looking to hire. I'm not without resources at all. So she says no, I don't want to put more money in the bank and I say why not. Then she says the whole conversation is making her physically ill. What, did I not brush my teeth or something? I just had chinese food! The smell will be gone in 10 minutes anyway! Its like she enjoys throwing money away. She's just giving it away. I mean a serial killer walks by and she's like here mijo, here's some money to go buy tamales with? I mean come on, really? Is that what people are doing with their money when they don't even have any? When the Government just wants more? I tell ya, man. We're living in some strange times. Even by my account.

Let me give you some advice: If you ever find yourself related to a Mom like this? do yourself a favor and commit yourself to an insane asylum. You'd have to be crazy to put up with a hot mess! I don't mean to bag on Moms but for reals? Mine needs to listen before its too late because all she wants to do is spend money but not in a good way.
