Listen, I've never left you hanging. The videos I post all over are meant to be inspirational. These are songs that mostly made me want to go out and apply for a job in radio, that I landed, right out of high school. Without music growing up I'd have probably become a corporate shill droning out my days like Milton from Office Space. Except I'd be asking "what are you talking about?" and thinking myself a bad-ass because I can what, lift a few weights? That's just being lazy to me. Sure you can have the money but you're only robbing yourself of your soul. If you truly want to live, true believers then you gotta give back before its too late to the people whom gave to you. That means your parents, your heroes, your friends, peers, enemies, whomever! Now when I say give back, that doesn't mean being a do-gooder peacenik out to save the planet while you secretly plot to become a wealthy senator or realtor, no. I'm talking about if someone does good to you, you do good to them. If they want to fight, you stand up and offer that too. Don't take no shit if you can't trust nobody. You gotta work hard to be hard. People might call you militant or a hard-ass, go ahead! That don't hurt me none. Why should you listen to me when you got it all? Maybe if I'm getting on your nerves then you don't have all as much as you think you do! Bernie Mac didn't become successful until late in his career. If that's the case with me then I still got all the time in the world to ear fuck someone until they listen and pay up to my ass. I don't want no backstabbers though. This ain't the O'Jays singin' about someone making me out to be no Mel Gibson in Payback! I lived down there too, with the peoples as family from 1993 until 1997. Now what?
